   ISS Melbourne and Phillip Island Trip
Join us for a 4 day trip to Melbourne and Phillip Island. We will discover the most famous Melbourne sights and visit the penguin parade on Phillip Island.
When: Saturday 18 April -Thursday 23 April 2009
The bus will leave at 10 pm sharp from the International Office and will arrive in Melbourne in the morning.
Price: Adults: $350.00
Proof of Current OSHC is needed in order to purchase tickets. This trip is not suitable for children under 16.Included in this price is:
* transportation by bus to Melbourne;
* accommodation in shared dorm rooms;
* breakfasts;
* entrance fee to the Penguin Parade, Immigration Museum, Town Hall, Botanical Gardens, Skydeck Extra costs you will need to pay for yourself are: * lunch/drinks/dinner
* entrance fees to extra attractions you would like to visit
* shopping and other costs Itinerary Saturday 18 April 2009 We leave Canberra at 10 PM and drive overnight to Melbourne. With a few rest stops we will arrive in Melbourne Sunday 19 April 8 AM and will check in our accommodation. Sunday 19 April 2009 Morning: breakfast, rest after the long drive

Morning: breakfast, some free time 12 pm: we leave Melbourne to Phillip Island. On the way we visit the Maru Australian Wildlife Park. After this we drive to Phillip Island to visit the penguin parade! 
Wednesday 22 April 2009
Morning:
▪we visit the Royal Melbourne Botanical Gardens
Afternoon:
free time
9 pm: leave Melbourne back to Canberra. We will arrive back in Canberra at 8 am on Thursday 23 April.
What to Bring
* something to eat and drink on the bus for the drive to Melbourne
* spending money for lunches and dinners
* camera and spare batteries/charger
* sun block/hat
* comfortable walking shoes
* a small backpack
* a pillow for on the bus Tickets will be on sale from the ISS office on Monday 16 March 2009 from 12 pm until sold out. We will accept payment by cash or cheque/money order made out to the Australian National University. Tickets are non refundable unless there is a medical reason for cancellation. In that case you will need a valid medical certificate. If you can not go on the trip, you can have someone else go instead of yourself. All International students need current OSHC cover. Please bring your OSHC card with you when signing up for the trip. Accommodation will be dorm room style.
