The Events and Activities program is designed to help international students adjust to their life on and off the campus. Through these events and activities students will also become more familiar with Canberra and the surrounding cities and regions. It is very simple to find out about what is happening. - Make sure that you regularly access your student email account. We will notify you of any up-coming day or overnight trips via your email.
- Make regular visits to the International Student Services Office, lower ground floor, Pauline Griffin Building, # 11.We display fliers and brochures in the office about up-coming events.

Canberra is home to Australia's cultural insitituions, so there is always something on, just up the road on the edge of campus is the National Film and Sound Archives, here you can watch the world's first feature film, "The Story if the Ned Kelly Gang". If you would like to explore Australia on your own visit visit the official Australian Tourism site and discover 100 things you can only do in Australia! | Event | Description | October - December 2009 | Family fun | Many of Canberra’s major attractions are free, or have low admission fees. The most affordable way to see some of Canberra’s best family attractions is a 3 in Fun ticket. The ticket includes entry to Questacon, Cockington Green Gardens and the Australian Institute of Sport. You will get a 10 per cent discount plus a free pass to go back to your favourite 3 in Fun attraction! The "great outdoors" | After the long winter do you need some fresh air? Discover the great outdoors. Hire a bike and cycle the many paths around the lakes in Canberra. Visit Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve for a chance to see rare rock wallabies and the vivid Corroboree frog. Walk the circular track on the top of Black Mountain. Take a picnic lunch. |
