Courses & Careers Sessions to help potential students
Thinking about studying at The Australian National University?
The ANU is hosting a series of Courses and Careers Sessions
to provide potential students with information about subject choices,
student facilities and possible careers. These sessions are jointly organised
by relevant Faculties and the ANU Careers Centre.
The first session on Wednesday 23 May will focus on humanities, language,
and social studies. Academics from the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty
of Asian Studies will be on hand to answer questions, plus former students
will talk about the course they completed and where they are working now.
The first ANU Courses and Careers evening session is very convenient for
anyone considering mid-year entry to the ANU (classes start in July).
The Law Faculty Courses and Careers session is on 30 May, Visual Arts
on 6 June, IT, Engineering & Science on 13 June and Economics &
Business on 20 June.
The flexible new entry process at ANU means a wide variety of courses
will be open for mid-year enrolment. They include first year subjects
in archaeology, European & Asian history, language studies, political
science, commerce, information technology, Australian & International
law, biology, ecology, music and visual arts.
Students interested in undergraduate and post graduate mid-year entry
to The Australian National University can check out all available courses
on the website: http://www.anu.edu.au/psi or by ringing the ANUs
infoline on 1800 620 032.
The deadline for applications through the Universities Admission Centre
is Tuesday May 29, 2001 or direct applications to the ANU close on 30
June 2001.
