Staff Involvement Staff Exchange with IARU Partners An objective of the IARU is to encourage exchange of academic and general staff between member universities. While reciprocal exchange arrangements are encouraged, non-reciprocal visits may be possible in some cases. The onus is on the individual staff member to identify an area (and preferably an individual) at a partner institution, with whom he/she could exchange. Importantly, the employee would need the support of their Head of Unit/Area and the Division Head or Dean. Involvement in IARU research and other projects ANU staff are encouraged to become involved in IARU research and other projects.
