What’s your advice for people starting out at ANU?
You should get to know the place and get to know the people.
What was the campus like when you started here?
It was very small, with mostly only the old hospital buildings. There was no Law School or Chancelry, and the Coombs Building was being built.
What has changed the most?

What’s your favourite place at ANU and why?
Anywhere on campus on a sunny day is nice.
Favourite restaurant at which to eat in Canberra?
Con’s Seafood Restaurant in Mawson. It has good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and it is close to home.

My family (hubby and 15-year-old moggi) and my books.

I read and play (practise) the organ.
What would you do if you had 24 hours left to live?
Cook and eat a good curry.
Who would you like to play you in the film of your life and why?
Hayley Mills. She is a good actress and when I was a teenager people used to say that I looked like her.

Bergerac (John Nettles) from the 1970’s TV series Bergerac. (As he was then!)
