CRES

Established in 1973 as part of the Institute of Advanced Studies to undertake interdisciplinary research into a range of environmental and resource issues.

Funding:

In addition to University recurrent funds, CRES attracts a range of external funding. This includes grants and consultancies from a wide range of government agencies and industry. Most of these funds are used to employ research support staff.

Staff:

CRES staff includes academics, visitors, administrative and research support staff and postgraduates. The academic staff consists of about 16 researchers and there are about the same number of support staff.

Students:

There are about 30 post-graduate students.
