The Edition and Artist Book Studio in the Canberra School of Art last week
previewed its most recent publication, Helen Geier's portfolio "Expanded
Field". The work is a suite of eight of Geier's etchings with the
poem, "In Which Reality Is A Collusion Between Minds And What Is Out
There" by Rhyll McMaster. Geier was the Senior Lecturer in the Foundation
Workshop before retiring in 1995 and in 1997 she was The Canberra Times'
Artist of the Year. Rhyll McMaster is a prize-winning poet who received
the CAPO Fellowship in 1997. Geier (left) is pictured with Rhyll McMaster
and CSA director Professor David Williams.
