Annual cricket-pitch clash returns to ANU

The 10th annual Town v Gown cricket match will be held on Sunday, March 8 on the South Oval, ANU from 10am to 5pm. Proceeds from the event, hosted by ANU Vice-Chancellor Deane Terrell and the Chief Minister of the ACT, will go to the ACT Cancerians.

In the men's game, the Gown team is selected from top cricketers of the ANU Cricket Club while the Town team is drawn from Canberra's best.

There is also a women's Town v Gown game played during the day. The public is invited, no admission charged, and food and refreshments are available. If it rains, play is deferred but the hospitality continues.

This year University House will run a BBQ and Bar for members and the public.
