ANU Early Career Planning Program for Academic Staff

Overview

The ANU Early Career Planning Program aims to develop and retain outstanding staff who are in the early stages of their ANU career and likely to add significant value to the success of the ANU throughout the course of their career.

The program:
  • Identifies high achieving staff in the early stages of their career who the ANU would like to retain; and
  • Invests in a facilitated program of development which values and supports individual career growth by providing targeted and tailored opportunities to enable participants to achieve success

In doing this, the program – and the ANU –actively recognizes and values the contribution of outstanding ANU staff, increasing the likelihood of these members’ engagement, continued high performance and retention.

The program, co-ordinated by a career development specialist, focuses on assessing and meeting participants’ individual career development needs.
