ANU Career Compass Program for General Staff

The ANU Career Compass program aims to develop and retain outstanding and high potential general staff who are wanting to develop their careers as future leaders at ANU. It is designed for staff at ANU levels 5-8. The program will be run over 3 days and will be supported by individual career coaching and mentoring.

Career Compass aims to equip participants with sustainable career management skills by developing a higher level of career and self awareness, enhancing interpersonal communication and emotional intelligence, raising awareness of development and employment opportunities and facilitating career ideas, vision and goals.

The program will be facilitated by a team of career development specialists and led by Jacqui Reich of Jacqui Reich and Associates.

12-15 participants will be selected for this first program.


Program Dates

Group sessions will be held over 3 days on 25 August, 26 August and 3 September 2009


Cost

Career Compass requires a significant investment from ANU. A co-payment of $250 to meet the costs of materials is required from participants' areas.


Closing Date for Applications

Eligible staff are invited to submit an application by Friday 17 July 2009.
