Occupational Strains Prevention

This course is conducted by an Occupational Therapist from the Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Unit and is designed for staff who perform regular computer based tasks and those who are training to become Occupational Strains Liaison Officers (OSLO's) within their local work area. The course focuses on the causes of occupational overuse injuries and the prevention and management of these injuries. It also incorporates a practical component regarding the assessment and correct ergonomic set up of a workstation. This course runs over 2 sessions.
