The course provides the technical framework for effective hazard management of compressed gases and cryogenics. Topics covered include properties of gases, safety with pressure, identification of gas cylinders, cylinder care, gas systems and equipment, safe use of compressed gases; and properties of cryogenic liquids, cryogenic hazards, cryogenic vessels and safe transfer techniques for cryogenics.
