Advanced OHS Courses

Advanced OHS courses provide specific hazard management training for research, teaching and technical staff and higher degree students who are working in a relevant area of research, teaching or technology. Please see courses listed below.

Each course is presented by technical and OHS specialists and supported by comprehensive notes, including copies of relevant technical standards. An examination is held in conjunction with each course to provide an objective assessment of participant understanding of the material.

Successfully completing a course (and exam), participants details will be updated on ESP and a certificate will be issued.  ESP information should be used by Supervisors as evidence of successful course completion.  Supervisors may request an individual students training record by emailing ohstraining@anu.edu.au.

The links below contain additional course information, dates and locations. Registration for ANU staff for OHS courses is via the ANUBIS system which can be accessed using the links from these pages. Registration will require a budget code.

Participants from other organisations are also welcome at the ANU's Advanced OHS Courses. Registration for visitors and external participants should be emailed to ohstraining@anu.edu.au or faxed to 6125 5582.
