ANU MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

The ANU Leadership Development Program has been reviewed over the past 12 months, resulting in a suite of initiatives – many of them new or redeveloped – being launched throughout 2008 for ANU supervisors, managers and leaders.

For Supervisors

These programs are aimed at new and/or aspiring supervisors to help you gain a strong understanding of what it means to supervise staff, have responsibility for the outcomes of others, and to develop the capabilities to undertake a supervisory role with confidence. Key ANU development programs for supervisors include:

DEVELOPMENT TIP: Additional programs provided by ANU can be found by accessing the ANU training page.

For Managers

Having the knowledge, skills and commitment to do your job well may well be one of the key reasons you move or are promoted into a management role. For Leaders

A leadership role can be one of the most inspirational and influential roles a person can occupy. The way a leader undertakes that role, the positive and the negative things they say and do, impacts on the performance, motivation and engagement of others. Great leaders bring out the best in others: they attract great people to work with them and motivate people to be and give their best. How many great leaders have you encountered? Do you know how to be a great leader? Are you a great leader? How do you know? Key ANU development programs for leaders include:
