Annual Leave Loading Rates

In accordance with clause 45.10 of the ANU Varied Enterprise Agreement 2005 - 2009 a staff member is entitled to payment of a yearly annual leave loading (ALL) equal to 17.5% of 20 days' base salary, accruing on a fortnightly basis.

The maximum ALL payable will not exceed the Average Weekly Earnings for all males in the August Quarter of the year preceding payment, as published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.

The average weekly earnings for all males for the August quarter 2008 is $1090.80.

Accrued ALL will be paid in the second pay of each calendar year.
