The entry point for a staff member in the maintenance stream who is an experienced tradesperson will be not less than step 3 of ANUO Grade 3.

 * This increase reflects a 2% increase as provided by Clause 17.3.1 plus an additional 1% increase as determined in line with Clause 17.3.2 of the Varied ANU Enterprise Agreement 2005-2008.

S2.2.2  A Graduate Recruitment and Development Program (GRDP) participant will be appointed as a standard, general staff member.  During the first 12 months of the GRDP, a participant will be paid the annual salary as listed in the following table:

S2.2.3      Apprentices and trainee technical officers will be paid in accordance with the following table:

S2.2.4 Trainees appointed in accordance with S1.3.9 will be paid in accordance with the following table:

S2.2.5   Supported salary rates for staff with disabilities

S2.2.5 (a) Nothing in this Agreement will prevent the full operation of the 'Supported Wage System' which means the Commonwealth Government System to promote employment for people who cannot work at full award wages because of a disability, as documented in "Supported Wage System:  Guidelines and Assessment Process".

S2.2.5 (b) A staff member covered by the supported wage system will be paid the greater of either $62 per week or a percentage of the relevant base salary rate for the class of work in which the person is performing which corresponds to the assessed percentage of capacity (10 - 90 %). Where a person's assessed capacity is 10%, he or she will receive a high degree of assistance and support.
