The Varied Australian National University Enterprise Agreement 2005-2008

Part Four - Leave and Holidays

29. Long Service Leave

Long Service Leave (LSL) is intended to provide staff members with a substantial break from work after a period of service of 10 years or longer.  It is expected that this leave should be taken during the term of employment, and organisational units should provide opportunity for this to occur.  The staff member and the University may enter into flexible arrangements for the taking of LSL. The entitlements for this clause are detailed in S4.3.
