20. Salary Deductions and Salary Sacrificing

The University will offer salary sacrificing deductions for staff members, including for: extra superannuation payments; campus childcare, on campus parking fees and other benefits available through the University’s salary packaging provider. A staff member may salary sacrifice up to 50% of gross salary, and make salary deductions as specified. In exceptional circumstances, subject to approval by the Director, Human Resources, a staff member may salary sacrifice beyond the 50% limit. This clause will be administered in accordance with University policy and procedures.
