4. Operation of Agreement

4.1 This Agreement will come into force on the date of certification in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission and will operate for three years from the date of certification.

4.2 It is not the intention of the University to seek the formal advice of its staff concerning either a non-union or union fifth round agreement prior to the nominal expiry date of this Agreement.
