Occupational Health and Safety

The Occupational Health and Safety Unit provides professional support (both policy and practice) for the technical risk management responsibilities of the University.

Equity and Diversity Unit (EDU)

The work of the EDU involves promotion of equality of opportunity and inclusivity with regard to recruitment and promotion, balancing of work and life needs, and support for those traditionally under-represented - especially people with disabilities; from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background; non-Anglo cultural backgrounds; and women. The EDU is active in a range of diversity initiatives including the area of sexuality; conducts training and awareness raising sessions and initiatives to do with diversity, cross-cultural matters, and education about discrimination and harassment issues.
