The following product safety recall notice occurred recently in the national press. It is copied below for your information and action where relevant.

Flexible Gas Leads

Frederick Duffield Pty Ltd (who supply CIGWELD, BOC gases and Gascon) have issued a product safety recall (The Daily Telegraph, 22/10/98) for Flexible Gas Leads manufactured June 98 or August 98. These leads may crack in service and/or result in excessive gas effusion (leakage) from the hose. If you have a product listed below manufactured in June 98 or August 98 (the date is stamped on the large hexagonal fitting) do not use the product and contact -
