ANU Diversity Initiative

ANU Diversity is an initiative managed by ANU JobMatch in the Human Resources Division. ANU JobMatch broadly aims to match quality staff from diverse backgrounds with vacancies arising in the University.

The ANU Diversity Initiative aims to fill entry-level general staff vacancies with people from two identified groups currently under-represented among ANU staff:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and
  • People with a disability.

All vacancies that arise within the ANU Officer Levels 1—4 are 'matched' against the JobMatch register by ANU JobMatch before they are advertised. Details of potential candidates are forwarded to the business area with the vacancy. The business area conducts a merit selection process using applications supplied by JobMatch.
