University Email Lists

Staff Email Lists

Staff Email Lists lists are mostly based on a person's role within the University for example, General Staff, Academic Staff, Casual Academic Staff etc. Subscription to these is lists is determined by employment categories recorded in the ANU's HR Management System, ESP HR and twice daily a process is run to extract this information and create the lists. A person may be on more than one list if they have a job in more than one category.

Posting to these lists is restricted and managed by the list authority. All postings are archived and the lists are 'private lists'. That is, the list names are not publicly advertised.

The table below provides further information, specifically the email list name, the category of people who are subscribed to the list and the area/s who have authority for determining who can send to the lists and/or what information can be sent to the lists.
