University Email ListsFunctional Administrative Email ListsFunctional administrative email lists are based on a staff member's position and are designed to target people with a specific administrative function, for example Financial, Human Resources, Student Administration etc. These lists are automatically generated twice daily (at lunchtime and overnight) based on information recorded in the ANU's HR Management System, ESP HR against Position Data (on the Position Data 4 panel) - see the ESP HR user guide Adding a Position Category for Administrative Email Lists. The responsibility for determining what positions receive what information rests with each business area. Posting to these lists is restricted and managed by the relevant area as the list owner. All postings are archived and the lists are 'private lists'. That is, the list names are not publicly advertised.
