Vision - Healthy and Safe Work at ANU:

The Australian National University will provide a workplace that is, as far as reasonably practicable, safe and healthy for staff, students, and visitors; and, without risk to the environment.  This will be done in compliance with relevant legislation, national standards and codes of practice.

In the event of an injury or disability, the University will assist the staff member with early and effective support to enable productive work to their capabilities.

Injury or exposure to people or Death

- report where there is immediate damage to a person or an environmental agent puts people at risk of harm.

Dangerous Occurrence 

- report any incident that has the potential to harm a person, but has not resulted in injury/illness.

Hazard notification 

- report anything which could cause harm to a person or place.
