Workforce Planning

The Workforce Planning unit has the following responsibilities:

• Developing ANU workforce planning capability and reference tools by, for example, providing services and high-level policy advice on workforce planning to assist managers to predict and take action in relation to future workforce needs. This includes staff planning, reporting of human resources performance indicators and using benchmarking in order to ensure that we have the necessary number of staff with the required skills and abilities to facilitate the achievement of the University’s strategic goals.

• Providing high level analysis and reporting of HR issues across the University, especially in relation to Operational Plan reporting and other regular and ad hoc reporting. The Group also provides all statutory reporting.
