Staff Development Branch

The primary aim of the Staff Development Branch is to support and improve the effectiveness of the University through the design, development and implementation of programs that advance the career and professional development of staff. The Staff Development Branch designs and delivers programs on a variety of topics as well as coordinates externally run programs.

The team can also assist with identifying providers that meet the specific needs of your work area.

The Staff Development Branch:

• Provides organisational-level induction;
• Provides and coordinates supervisory, management and leadership development programs;
• Delivers programs to support staff career development;
• Delivers communication and teamwork skills training;
• Coordinates a range of ANU networks; and
• Manages initiatives to recognise and enable staff excellence.
