HR Information Sharing Sessions 2008

  1. Ron Watts gave an update from the November HR Planning Day
  2. Tanya Hammond and Adrian Daley, two consultants who have been brought on board to progress the Building HR Capability project, provided an overview of their approach and next steps for this project.
21 February
  1. Tanya Hammond, Adrian Daley and the Building HR Capability working group provided an overview of the results from the Building HR Capability Survey, which was held in the first week of February.
  2. Building HR Capability - working group members: Janet Ceely; Tane Power; Katarina Heineback; Nigel Byng; Mary Sharf; Lisa Cousins; Sally Chapman; Rob Tidy; Cate Douglass; Tanya Hammond (consultant); and Adrian Daley (consultant).

  2. Lindsay Stanford provided a briefing on the upcoming 2008 Indigenous Traineeship Program.
  3. Pat Boling provided the first series of College updates on the College of Arts and Social Sciences. 
  4. The HR Capability Working Group's final presentation will be delivered in April

  1. Working group for Building HR Capability presented update.
  2. Kathryn Cole discussed Pivot Tables in ESP.
  3. HR Managers are asked to strongly encourage exiting staff to complete an Exit Survey before they leave the ANU: https://apollo.anu.edu.au/apollo/default.asp?pid=2352&script=true.  The accumulated and analysed data will assist us to focus our HR policies and strategies and to further refine our attraction and retention efforts.  Enquiries to Lisa Cousins, x57164.
