HR Division- Communicating with Stakeholders
The HR Division is committed to supporting ANU staff to achieve excellence, by: providing innovative HR services to support the achievement of ANU goals; and
working together with Colleges and Divisions to provide ANU-wide HR services which are valued, consistent, responsive and supportive to managers and staff members.
The following strategy provides a framework for ensuring that our clients, stakeholders and peers are able to keep abreast of the work we are undertaking on major projects, updates and changes that may affect their daily work or conditions. Involve others earlyFor new policies, major projects, or other matters likely to affect staff, consultation will occur both within and outside the HR Division early, and involve at least a representative number of key stakeholders. In addition, Associate Directors HR will be kept in the loop, and they will advise appropriate staff within their groups to seek input and feedback. Further consultation with others, depending on the scope/impact of the policy/project/initiative might include: Attendance at staff meetings of relevant HR areas to discuss the work and seek feedback;
Focus groups, surveys;
Email drafts to any or all of the following groups seeking input and feedback: HR Managers, HR practitioners; General Managers; Deans & Directors; and
Discussion at any of the following for a: HR Director lunch-time meetings with HR Managers; Business Manager meetings; HR Information Sharing Network meetings.
