The primary educational objective of ANU is to become the university of choice for talented students locally, nationally and internationally by offering a unique range of research-led degree programs.

ANU has seven Colleges, which are made up of the research and education Centres, Schools and Faculties that contribute to the various broad disciplines. Higher research degrees, such as PhDs, are also undertaken in the Institute of Advanced Studies.
