The Canberra Times

The Canberra Times was founded in 1926. Its motto – ‘To serve the national city and through it the nation’ – reflects the importance its original owners placed on serving the needs of what was then a town focused around Federal Parliament. The focus of the newspaper is still to serve the needs of the Canberra community.
