Childcare on Campus
| There are four childcare centres on campus. There are also ANU School Holiday Programs and a parenting room located on the first floor of the Student Union building.If you have non-school age children accompanying you, you should: be aware that childcare is expensive; apply early as waiting lists at centres are often long; maintain contact with the Childcare Centre, emailing them every two weeks to remind them of your intent to place your child in their care. Information about the various campus childcare facilities is located below. |
Acton Early Childhood Centre

Acton Early Childhood Centre is a community-based long day care centre offering full-time and part-time child care to families of all members of the community. The centre provides a warm, caring, home-like environment in which each child is nurtured and encouraged to explore their full potential. |

Fees are payable two weeks in advance; accounts are given out at the centre fortnightly on Fridays. If your child would normally attend on a day, which is a Public Holiday, fees will be charged as usual. However, you may be able to arrange a make-up day at no charge if a space is available.
On commencement of care, a Holding Fee is payable. This serves as a 'bond' and is refunded when the child is withdrawn from the centre, provided that two weeks' notice is given in writing. The holding fee is $100.00 per child.
There is an annual Membership Fee of $16.50 per family (or $8.25 if commencing after July 1).

Heritage Early Childhood Centre
|
| Heritage Early Childhood Centre provides high quality, flexible child care in a comfortable and secure family atmosphere. It is a small, community-based child care centre catering for 50 chlidren between 6 weeks and 6 years of age. Parents are welcome at the centre at all times as we encourage a parent-staff partnership and parent involvement in the centre's programs and management. |
