ANU International Undergraduate Scholarships

Each year The Australian National University offers several scholarships that cover tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) premiums for international students who are immediate school leavers. A number of undergraduate fee sponsorship scholarships are available to students from any country. Overseas Student Health Cover (100%) is also included.

Applicants need to satisfy minimum admission requirements and MUST have applied for admission to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.

The following is a the minimum international senior secondary scores expected for scholarship candidates to be seriously considered. Qualifications not listed below will also be considered.

Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination	HKALE	17.5	Subjects must be taken in the same academic year.
Indian School Certificate	ISC	99	Percentage grade in best four (4) externally examined subjects.
International Baccalaureate	IB	41-45	Aggregate score including bonus points.
Sijil Tinggi Perskolahan Malaysia	STPM	23	Out of four (4) subjects. SPM qualification alone not accepted.
UK or Singapore General Certificate of Education	GCE	17	Must be 'A' Level qualification. 'O' or 'AS' Level qualification alone is not acceptable.
University Admissions Index	UAI	99.40	Australian Year 12 qualification.
USA Scholastic Aptitude Test	SAT	1500	Advanced placement aggregate 9-20.

Alumni Scholarships

Four full undergraduate tuition scholarships may be available from time to time for a student from each of the following countries: Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

A PhD scholarship is available for a PhD student from Japan.

US and Canadian Financial Aid

ANU is registered to participate in the US Government student loan program (FFELP) and can certify Stafford and Plus loans as well as private student loans for US students studying at the ANU.

ANU can also certify Canadian provincial loans.
