To commemorate the contribution of Professor R D Terrell to international relations and international student affairs, the University has established a number of Terrell International Scholarships to be awarded to international undergraduate students on the basis of their achievement after completing one year of enrolment at the Australian National University. The scholarships meet 25% or 50% of annual tuition fees, plus full Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

A scholarship application form must be submitted to the Admissions Office (building 11) at The Australian National University in order to be considered for The Terrell International Scholarships. The closing date for each semester is the first day of teaching for that particular semester.
It is expected that a total of eight (8) scholarships will be awarded during the year, four in semester 1 and four in semester 2.
Eligibility is restricted to students who are about to commence their third semester of study at The Australian National University.
