Academic Progress

Progress Reports

The AusAID Liaison Office closely monitors the academic progress of ADS students at the ANU. Towards the end of each semester, ADS students are emailed a semester progress report template to complete. These reports are used to identify any possible impediments to the successful completion of ADS awardees' programs of study. Research students must also get their supervisor to complete a report commenting on the students progress.

These reports must be returned to the AusAID Liaison Officer by the date indicated, or students may have their stipend temporarily suspended.

If an ADS student is in danger of failing a course, or is struggling with the content of that course, they should make an appointment to see the AusAID Liaison Officer as soon as possible. All ADS students who fail a course will be asked to make an appointment to discuss their results with the AusAID Liaison Officer.

If a student fails to contact the AusAID Liaison Officer once they have failed a course, their stipend may be temporarily suspended.
