3A.    Support for research or peak conference costs of higher degree research students

The Vice-Chancellor has agreed to make available up to $100,000 per year in 2007, 2008 and 2009 to contribute to costs for PhD candidates, to conduct their research or to attend peak conferences in their field.

Purpose of the program

The purpose of the program is to:

  • contribute to travel costs to enable attendance at a peak conference directly related to the candidates field of study
