Approve the closure of University buildings for a planned event scheduled during normal operating hours

University Accommodation

NT 16.2 Commission annual market valuations:  Of all University accommodation properties within portfolio

Determine and authorise the release of fees and tariffs:  For all University accommodation properties within portfolio

NT 16.4 Determine service fees and charges in respect of cleaning, electricity, phone rates, application fee and all other fees and charges in respect of University accommodation within area of responsibility

Authorised to sign tenancy agreements and leases on behalf of the University and in respect of University accommodation within area of responsibilities (except for properties in investment portfolio)

16.6 Authority to operate student rental guarantee scheme, including guaranteeing of rental payments of students, payment of defaulters' rent to external landlords or their agents, creation of defaulters as debtors, follow-up collection action including initiation of court proceedings
